Poetic Graffiti

"We have art so that we shall not die of reality." - Nietzsche.

"The world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those who feel." - Horace Walpole

"Cognito eggo sum - I think, therefore I am a waffle." - anonymous

Welcome to the page that defines the purpose of this site: poetry.

We are all poets - some of us just don't know it yet. Not all of us are poets who use words; some find other ways in which to express their grace, fear, strength, and frustration. Some are artists. Many are lovers. Me, well I'd love to be an artist. But for now I just write.

I want to invite you - yes you! - to send me your poetry. If its original, I'll publish it on this page. I has to have some merit, though. I don't believe in printing offensive words just because they shake people up. But I don't shy from controversy.

So after you have read a few or all of the poems on this site, scan down to the bottom of this page and find out how to send me your poetry. I'll be waiting with baited breath.

This is not a cliché free site.

Attention amateur poets!:

I'm creating a guest poetry page for my fans. If you would like to submit poetry to this page, me. Include your name, e-mail address (if you want people to e-mail you about your poetry), and a short biography about you (if you want people to know who you are.) Pseudonyms are acceptable in lieu of your real name. Personally, I would never use a pseudonym myself.

All poetry must be original and will be credited to the author.
